I'm the mother of six children; ages 7 to 22 years old. Pregnancy, birth and newborn care have been my life's passion. Empowering women to achieve the birth they want, is a strongly held belief of mine, as is "mothering the mother".
The births and parenting of my six children has given me valuable insight into the needs of mothers and their families. Providing support and helping a woman feel safe while she births her baby, or nurtures her child at home, is the goal of my doula work.
Due to my life experience and my work as a doula, I can answer many of your questions about pregnancy, labor, birth and your new baby. If your questions are beyond my experience, I can help you find the answers or the resources needed.
